Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Manager to be the first hire in our HR department. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead our HR function from the ground up. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and strategies that support our business goals and foster a positive and productive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Create, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

  • Recruitment: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees.

  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and promoting effective communication.

  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems to ensure employees' growth and productivity.

  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, design programs, and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Administer and review compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and employee satisfaction.

  • HR Strategy: Align HR initiatives with business objectives, providing strategic advice to senior management on HR-related matters.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes in HR legislation.

Qualifications:

  • Human Resources qualification (CIPD or similar)

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
