​We are seeking an enthusiastic individual for the Trainee Sign Maker/Fitter position for our client in Birkenhead. The right candidate will be fully trained in the industry for creating high-quality vinyl graphic signs for vehicles, posts and buildings. This role will involve working in a warehouse setting to assemble and produce various types of signage, as well as attending customers site to install!

This role is working on a Temporary to Permanent basis for the right candidate looking to start or continue their career in the sign making business!

Full training given!

Hours:
- Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm
- Overtime available on Saturday morning

Pay:
- Pay rate is minimum wage-age dependant for entry/trainee level
- If you have experience in the industry, please contact us as your skills may be at a higher pay level!

Duties:
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to fabricate and assemble signs according to specifications
- Operate machinery and equipment to cut, shape, and finish sign materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse
- Attend customers sites to install window, door or building signs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling tools and materials

Must Have Skills:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a warehouse/production setting
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in the sign making/fitting industry
- Familiarity with mechanical processes and equipment
- Understanding of different types of signage and their applications
